Most recently, Angela served as Global Sustainability Director for Steelcase where she led the company’s sustainability strategy, technical platforms and performance development for ten years including pioneering and growing material chemistry practices, leading the implementation of the Cradle-to-Cradle Design protocols and championed the company’s Circular Economy strategy and readiness.
Nahikian has held positions on many educational curriculum boards and sector advisory councils including the first Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute Certification Standards Board, the Katerva Awards, the CE100 and others. She studied architecture and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
Angela was named one of the most powerful women in sustainability by Green Building and Design magazine.
