Michael Vormittag is Head of Digital Innovation & Partnerships at Mercedes-Benz Marketing and Sales. With a focus on how to bring innovation through collaboration into the digital business of Mercedes-Benz, he is both focusing on internal processes and strategy as well as establishing external partnerships and investments. To find the most meaningful collaboration opportunities he currently runs the Mercedes-Benz side of “The Bridge Builders” a startup commercialization program based in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Throughout his career, he held various positions in the field of how to bring innovation to reality, from product ownerships and app development to agile coaching and design thinking – always having the holistic picture of how to build digital products in mind.
Michael Vormittag studied Industrial Engineering and Management at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, ETH Zurich and the Singapore Management University.
